Advocacy helps create a vital support system for people with disabilities in Connecticut.

UCP is a vital resource to individuals with disabilities and their families. Our legislative monitoring and presence at the Capitol helps to send important messages to the leaders in our state about our mission and our efforts to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities, measured by these indicators. We are a member of The Alliance. Together, we present a united front before the legislature, state and federal agencies, the public and the media.
