We’re more than your average support group – helping people with disabilities in CT have fun, get connected and stay informed.

F.U.N stands for Friends United Network. This group is designed to increase interactions with peers and it’s a forum for our members to discuss what’s going on in the political climate about issues that relate to them. Members offer advice to each other on how to navigate through systems and services and they learn about advocacy.

Our group is for adults with physical disabilities, age 16 and older. We meet about 3 times a month. Members participate in recreational outings, educational workshops and informative peer presentations. Some of our outings include going to Mystic Aquarium, attending Camp Harkness and the Mohegan Sun Fireworks. Family members and caregivers are always welcome to come along!
